Job Description:We are seeking a Physical Therapy Aide & Receptionist to join our Central Valley Health and Wellness team. The position is located in Lost Hills, CA and will rotate between other wellness centers in the Central Valley which are located Lost Hills, CA. This individual will work primarily with our physical therapy team but may also support others on the team to provide wellness care to the company's employees and families. For the right candidate, this will provide an incredible opportunity to build, develop and foster collaboration among a team that is evolving a new model for world-class health and wellness that can have an immense positive impact for underserved and vulnerable populations.
Physical Therapy Aide Duties:
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment. Takes patient histories.
- Perform ultrasound, electrical stimulation, apply hot/cold packs and other modalities as directed by physical therapist
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
- Ensures clean physical therapy treatment area, maintains equipment and sanitizes patient treatment areas
- Order and maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.
- Maintain Electronic Medical Records, files and other information.
Front Office (Receptionist) Duties:
- Welcome patients in a manner that is helpful and friendly; determine purpose of visit and direct to appropriate person or program.
- Register new patients and update/verify existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information and eligibility status that is accurate and up-to-date.
- Schedule patients for clinic visits; call patients to confirm; follow up with patients for missed appointments
- Provide information to callers; transfer calls as needed; work with Health and Wellness team to ensure adequate phone coverage at all times.
- Manage and update clinic staff outlook calendars and coordinate schedule with clinical supervisor
- Maintain office supply inventory and equipment
- Unlock and lock clinic rooms, cabinets, and drawers to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
- As needed, role will provide coverage in our clinics as receptionist or referral coordinator.
- Must be able to speak Spanish conversationally
- Experience working in a medical setting
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Open-minded, compassionate and customer-service oriented
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to excel in a team environment
Pay: $21.00/Hour.
