Title:  All School Play Director- Extra Duty Position

Available: September 2025- November 2025

Compensation: Salary in accordance with EDR contract

Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours per week

Description: Responsibilities include choosing the fall play, running auditions, casting students, running rehearsals, coordinating building sets, props and costumes. Must submit Building use Reservations forms for time in the auditorium. Coordinate teams of adults and student volunteers prior to and on the day of the show to handle publicity, tickets, concessions, etc. Oversee cleanup after the show. 

Play usually include 20-25 student actors and 25-30 techies (set and backstage help). Auditions held mid- September. Rehearsals and building sets involve approximately 15 hours per week. Fall Play for 2025 is scheduled for November 13- November 15, 2025.

Requirements:  High School Diploma/GED. Previous directing experience is preferred.
