Title:  Lifeguard – Aquatics Program

Reports to:  Pool Director

Available:   Immediately

Terms of Employment:  $15.00 / hr.

Description:     Lifeguard the pool during practices, meets and swim lessons.

Under the direction of the Aquatics Program Manager this position is responsible for ensuring an atmosphere of discipline, friendliness, and safety for all Pennridge Aquatic users by presenting themselves in a professional manner while using effective surveillance and accident prevention techniques at all times. 

Pre-Employment Paperwork Requirements:   Must possess current Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid and AED certifications. Be physically able to sit and/or stand for a sustainable period of time. Be physically able to work within an aquatic environment. Ability to lift and move equipment, and to lift and move people ranging from small children to adults. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

• School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
• PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
