The Sr. Manager Market Development and Patient Advocacy is a pivotal role, that will collaborate closely with field sales, customers, and internal stakeholders to create and implement innovative digital tools and field-level programs that increase utilization of the Fibroid ablation systems (Sonata, Acessa) and Novasure in newly launched and strategic accounts. They will play a key role in supporting field salespeople and Market Development Managers, managing educational outreach for patients and referring physicians, and leading our Nurse Advocate program. 

 

Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of marketing principles and strategies (including digital, social media, and field programs).
  • Knowledge of market development concepts and patient advocacy.
  • Familiarity with hospital and healthcare marketing, including referring physician outreach.
  • Understanding of CRM platforms, digital promotion, and content creation.
  • Awareness of policy engagement and partnership development with external organizations.
  • Knowledge of cross-functional collaboration within a commercial environment (Leadership, Sales, Marketing, Education, HEMA).
  • Familiarity with best practices in digital marketing and advocacy programs.
  • Knowledge of reporting and measurement methods for marketing activities.

Skills:

  • Program and material development for market and patient flow optimization.
  • Digital marketing and promotion (social media, e-newsletters, web, email, CRM).
  • Content creation and refinement for digital channels.
  • Ability to assess customer needs and develop tailored support packages.
  • Relationship-building and stakeholder engagement (with physicians, practice managers, hospital staff, and executives).
  • Communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
  • Project management and organization.
  • Analytical skills for measuring program effectiveness and reporting progress.
  • Proficiency in essential software tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, social media.
  • Training and coaching skills for account implementation and program rollout.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in marketing, with emphasis on digital/social promotion and field programs.
  • Background in healthcare or medical device industry preferred.
  • Experience managing advocacy programs, especially with nurse or patient advocates.
  • Track record of developing and executing partnerships with external organizations.
  • Experience in supporting field sales and market development managers.
  • Demonstrated history of cross-functional collaboration at a national level.
  • Experience in program development, training, and account support.
  • Travel experience (up to 50%) in a field-based or remote role.
  • Physical ability to meet job requirements (sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 40 lbs., travel).

The annualized base salary range for this role is $127,000- $211,00 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, education, business needs and market demand.
