Sitting within the FIFA Event Operations, Ticketing aims to deliver the most engaging, innovative, and accessible World Cup experience for all athletes, fans, partners, and the community. Reporting organizationally to the Senior Mobile Ticketing Manager and to the Ticket Production Manager, the Software Testing Specialist will help serve Ticketing efforts for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ that for the first time ever, is hosting 48 teams and 1,200+ players across 3 countries and 16 venues. This role will be responsible for the delivery of the ticketing mobile solution. Further, this role will oversee the implementation of the paper ticket production strategy.  

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities of the Software Testing Specialist for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ include:  
• Assist the Mobile Ticketing team in executing the mobile ticketing strategy across FIFA events.
• Perform comprehensive testing of mobile ticket delivery solutions to ensure reliability, functionality, and a high-quality user experience.
• Provide support of the mobile ticketing delivery solution during FIFA events.
• Support the team with the configuration and testing of the Mobile Ticketing solution;
• Assist in the configuration of the Ticketing system in relation to ticket printing and ensure implementation of the print and fulfilment rules;
• Quality assurance of configurations implemented on the Ticketing platforms:
 


YOUR PROFILE

Education & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or similar level of education
• Understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team.
• Detail-oriented with focus on delivering high-quality user experiences.

Work Experience
• 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably with a focus on ticketing mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools.
• Experience in writing test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Experience in ticketing projects is a plus.
• International business experience is a plus.

Languages
• Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus

Technology
• Jira, MS Office, QA testing tools and software
