Rochester Hearing and Speech has immediate openings for full-time, part-time, and per diem Occupational Therapists interested in working with young children with special needs in homes, preschools, daycares, RHSC locations, and via teletherapy. New graduates welcome; pediatric experience preferred.

Compensation:

· 10-Month Position: $47,000 – $50,000 annualized salary (paid over the 10-month contract period, based on experience and credentials).

· Time As Reported (TAR) Opportunity for breaks & summer work: $51.50/hour.

Specific OT Needs:

Itinerant Services (traveling to homes, daycares, preschools, and/or providing clinic services). Services provided primarily to children birth to five years old.

Duties include:

· Providing direct clinical services in the treatment and evaluation of fine motor, sensory, adaptive, and developmental impairments

· Parent/teacher training regarding client goals and objectives

· Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team

· Completing and maintaining documentation in accordance with regulations

· Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and current NYS license to practice· Experience in pediatric settings preferred; new graduates with pediatric fieldwork welcome· Knowledge of evidence-based therapy and evaluation procedures to address sensory processing, fine motor, and adaptive delays· Valid NYS driver’s license, automobile, and insurance coverage
• Physical Requirements:
• Duties require extensive standing and walking.
• Requires lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients.
• Duties require frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
