Suntree Country Club seeks a positive, energetic, and highly capable individual with strong interpersonal skills. The candidate must embody and demonstrate a confident engagement style that promotes a positive culture emphasizing team development while maintaining the highest member satisfaction levels. The Receptionist will report to the Communications Manager.


Working Hours 9 am to 5 pm

Requirements

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and Assisting Guests:
    • Welcome members and guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
    • Answer questions about club amenities, schedules, events, and policies.
    • Assist with reservations for dining, golf tee times, events, and other club activities.
    • Provides tours of Suntree Country Club to perspective Members.
  • Phone and Email Management:
    • Answer incoming calls in a polite and professional manner, directing calls to the appropriate department or personnel.
    • Respond to emails and messages, providing information or directing inquiries to the relevant staff.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Maintain and update member records and club databases.
    • Assist with billing, membership renewals, event registrations, and other administrative duties as needed.
    • Handle member inquiries and complaints, resolving them or escalating to management as appropriate.
  • Scheduling and Coordination:
    • Manage appointment and reservation scheduling for club services and events.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless member and guest experiences.
  • Maintaining Front Desk Area:
    • Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary materials.
    • Ensure club brochures, forms, and informational materials are up to date and available.
  • Other Duties as Assigned:
    • Assist in special events or functions hosted at the club.
    • Provide additional support to management and staff as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required (some college coursework preferred).
  • Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, scheduling software, etc.).
  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Needed to be able to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9 am to 5 pm and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to work Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm.
