Receptionist
Job Summary:
The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Receives the public and answers questions, and refers, when necessary, to the appropriate person or department.
Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person's visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff and/or takes messages.
Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
Duplicates and distributes materials.
Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
Completes administrative tasks requested by corporate office managers.
Prepares and scans new move in leases and packets.
Closes maintenance work order.
Special projects as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Strong computer skills and ability to manage multiple systems or programs.
Strong organizational skills.
Heightened attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Ability to meet established deadlines.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1 year work experience as a receptionist or in customer service.
