We are currently looking for an Associate IT Systems Specialist to join our growing team.
Position Summary: The Associate IT Systems Specialist will provide hands-on support for end-user devices (desktops, laptops, peripheral devices, etc.). This role will also assist with the administration of the Microsoft 365 Suite, perform basic Azure tasks, and support low-level server operations.
Essential Functions
  • Provide first- and second-level support to end users by responding to incidents and requests in a timely manner, provide regular status updates, and track changes using approved software.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Windows and assorted Microsoft 365 applications, including, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.
  • Assist in the administration of basic Azure tasks, such as managing Azure AD users and groups.
  • Perform routine server and infrastructure support, including monitoring, patching, and backing up of data.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and document technical procedures.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate senior IT team members or vendors while maintaining responsibility for tracking and communication.
  • Install, configure, deploy, test, and maintain workstations, IT equipment, and software or applications.
  • Maintain and update workstation and application software as needed.
  • Participate in office IT moves, new user setups, and endpoint lifecycle management.
  • Perform additional IT support duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant IT experience in IT support or help desk role
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field is preferred
  • CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, AZ-900 certification(s) is preferred, but not required
  • Solid foundational knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, basic networking concepts
  • Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, etc.)
  • Some server level experience Is preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Active Directory
  • Knowledge of server technologies (Windows server, Linux Ubuntu, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proven troubleshooting skills and an attention to detail
  • Ability to work on-call and other after-hours support if needed
  • SharePoint Administration and PowerApps experience is a plus
