Are you interested in HGV Class 1 driving in a company that offers high quality trucks (<2yrs old)? Delivery mainly to RDC’S. No loading and unloading. Friendly working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily driver defect report and report any issues to a member of the management team
- Observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises as instructed by the Transport Team
- Communicate any delays to the Transport Office
- Health & Safety policies must be adhered to at all times.
- Reporting any incidents/hazards
Essential Requirements:
- C+E (Class 1) Driving License (required) with less than 6 penalty points
- No previous disqualifications
- Drivers Card (Valid CPC AND Tachograph cards required)
- Right to work in the UK (required)
- Fluent in English Language (required)
- You are an enthusiastic professional driver with a minimum of 6 month’s proven commercial experience
- Sound understanding of EU Working Time and Driving Time regulations
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday with typical start times of between 4am to 11am. There will be a requirement of 2 potentially 3 nights out per week. (Expenses paid)
- Minimum of 41.25 hours per week + overtime
Rates of pay
- Standard - £35,061 per annum + Overtime when required
- Night out - £25

Applicants will be expected to sit a driving assessment prior to the offer of a position. (on successful completion you will be a 6-month probation period)
