What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal deadlines.
  • Prepare insightful financial and management reports (P&L by line of business, office location, etc.) to guide decision-making.
  • Manage general ledger functions, daily banking activity, billing, and vendor invoice tracking.
  • Drive collections performance and working capital optimization.
  • Lead the annual audit and tax return process and ensure timely government reporting.
  • Continuously improve ERP systems, processes, and internal controls.
  • Develop and document accounting policies and procedures.
  • Mentor and coach team members in general accounting, AP, payroll, billing, and collections.
  • Partner with leadership on special financial projects to support growth.



Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 10–15 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, including team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience managing audits, tax returns, and government reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and ERP proficiency (SAP preferred).
  • Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
