About the Role: Join a high-impact, collaborative team that keeps Cambridge’s most critical applications—like CLIC and Salesforce—running at peak performance. As an IT Production Support Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our daily operations, monitoring and maintaining the systems our Financial Professionals rely on every day. You’ll dive into troubleshooting complex application and server performance issues, administer web applications and services, manage virtual environments, and ensure the security and integrity of our production systems. Working closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors, you’ll tackle challenges head-on, implement smart solutions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our technology environment.
As an IT Production Support Engineer, you’ll bring your technical expertise to administer, troubleshoot, and enhance a variety of applications, servers, and systems. You’ll work closely with other IT professionals, vendors, and business partners to ensure our applications run securely and efficiently—24/7. Essential Duties:
What You’ll Do
Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot web applications written in .NET and Java
Administer IIS 5.0–7.0, including site planning, configuration, security, load balancing, monitoring, and reporting
Manage SSL certificates from acquisition to renewal and installation
Create and support virtual machines using HyperV and VMware
Apply security best practices to internal and external database-enabled websites in collaboration with network administrators
Support disaster recovery operations, including application testing using EMC Recover Point with SQL Server
Troubleshoot and resolve data integrity and application integrity issues
Serve as a liaison for 3rd party vendors and manage software updates across multiple application environments
Provide 2nd-tier support for all production systems, acting as the primary contact for vendor support when needed
Work under the guidance of IT Support Engineer II or Senior IT Support Engineer to deliver high-quality production support
The ideal candidate will have an intermediate to advanced level of experience in web application administration, disaster recover solutions, and security best practices for web applicaitons and databases. Experience with .Net, Jave and SQL Server preferred.

Compensation: $75,000-$100,000. This range is a good faith estimate of the compensation to be offered for this position based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the Company’s operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. The actual pay offered to a specific candidate may vary above or below the stated range.
