Description

QuikCut, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Fabrication Supervisor to lead our weekend shift team in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment. This role will oversee the cutting and forming operations, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of weekend shift personnel in cutting and forming operations.
• Ensure production schedules are met and work is completed on time and within specifications.
• Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or processes as needed to optimize productivity.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and conducting regular inspections.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to support skill development and performance improvement.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to ensure smooth handoffs and communication across shifts.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, escalating as necessary to maintenance or engineering teams.
• Maintain accurate records of production, attendance, and performance metrics.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in metal fabrication preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in metal fabrication, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cutting and forming equipment and processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices is a plus.
