We are currently hiring a Healthcare Designer - Healthcare design in our Rochester, NY Healthcare Studio.
The selected candidates will work from Concepts Design through the Construction Administration phase for a variety of high-profile projects, particularly focused in Healthcare Architecture.
Duties
- Assist in leading a production team with developing solutions to design and technical problems.
- Assist the project manager to prepare client presentations and design concepts.
- Prepare construction detail documentation the meets LaBella standards.
- Assist in directing the work of the project team; foster a collaborative working relationship.
- Prepare project specifications.
- Communicate with client representatives to verify design requirements and specifications.
- Responsible for technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of a project.
- Develop solutions to design problems.
- Aspire to develop into a Project Manager.
- Attend on-site visits, field reviews, project meetings. Provide follow up documentation for contractor implementation.
- Review and coordinate shop drawing and product submittals.
- Must communicate with all disciplines, vendors, and contractor to maintain project schedules.
- Participate and help lead project team meetings, coordination, schedule adherence, and technical direction.
Requirements
- Bachelors/Master's degree in Architecture preferred.
- 5+ years in Architecture Experience.
- Must be proficient in Revit.
- licensure track preferred.
Salary Range: $68,000 - $78,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
