Apple DPP Business Development Executive

About the Job
We’re looking for a proactive Business Development Executive to support the growth of our Apple Commercial Team at Ingram Micro UK.

In this role, you’ll manage a mix of inbound and outbound sales activity, using phone, email, and our digital platform (Xvantage™) to drive revenue and deliver excellent customer service. You’ll work closely with internal teams to promote the full Apple portfolio, identify opportunities, and build lasting relationships with B2B customers. This is a great opportunity for someone with sales experience who’s looking to develop their career in the tech industry.

What your role as an Business Development Executive will involve:

  • Driving revenue through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and through our digital sales platform, Ingram Micro Xvantage™.

  • Building strong, lasting relationships with new and existing B2B customers.

  • Supporting order fulfilment while identifying and capitalising on upsell, cross-sell, and attach opportunities.

  • Acting as an Apple brand champion, providing expert advice on Apple products, services, and solutions.

  • Collaborating with Sales and Product teams to expand Apple’s market share within the UK.

  • Managing data analytics to optimise sales pipelines and identify growth opportunities.

  • Contributing to internal initiatives and training to enhance overall service levels and customer experience.

To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience

  • Experience in a sales, customer service, or account support role (ideally in a fast-paced environment)

  • Confidence speaking with customers over the phone and via email

  • A proactive attitude with the ability to spot sales opportunities and follow up effectively

  • Basic understanding of technology products or a willingness to learn (Apple product knowledge is a bonus)

  • Good organisation skills and attention to detail

  • Comfortable working with digital tools (e.g. CRM systems, online platforms)

  • A team player who’s keen to build relationships and grow their skills in a sales-focused environment
