Job Overview:The National Account Manager – GPOs & IDNs is responsible for leading strategic contracting and relationship management efforts with national group purchasing organizations (GPOs)—specifically Premier and HPG—as well as key regional and national Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs). This role supports Eugia’s generic injectable portfolio, ensuring access, maximizing contract performance, and identifying growth opportunities across hospital systems, clinics, and alternate care sites.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience managing national GPO relationships, a strong understanding of the generic pharmaceutical market, and a proven ability to lead contract negotiations and drive pull-through efforts. Collaboration with internal commercial functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Trade, Supply Chain) and alignment with customer goals are essential to success.
This position is remote, with candidates ideally located in the Midwest to the East Coast.
Responsibilities:- National Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key GPO accounts—Premier and HPG—as well as large IDNs and national hospital systems.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of contract terms and access strategy for new and existing injectable products across designated accounts.
- Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with financial and operational decision-makers within GPOs and IDNs.
- Contract Pull-Through: Coordinate with field teams to ensure execution of negotiated agreements, monitor compliance, and maximize product utilization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Operations, Marketing, Trade, and Supply Chain to align internal resources and support customer needs.
- Account Performance: Routinely meet with assigned accounts to assess and clarify issues, drive contract compliance, and identify new opportunities.
- Data Analysis: Analyze purchasing and performance data to identify trends, compliance issues, and growth opportunities.
- Market Insight: Track industry trends and competitor activity to identify potential risks, opportunities, and shifts in customer or market behavior, and share findings with cross-functional teams
- Strategic Planning: Participate in internal planning meetings, providing insights and recommendations based on account feedback and market shifts.
- Industry Engagement: Represent Eugia at relevant industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events.

Qualifications - Skills & Requirements:
- Demonstrated national GPO account management experience, with Premier and/or HPG strongly preferred
- Experience managing regional and/or national IDNs, including contract negotiation and pull-through strategy
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to present and discuss economic models, rebates, and pricing structures
- Existing relationships with GPO and IDN decision-makers, particularly within hospital and clinic networks
- Strong ability to collaborate across functions, including Sales, Trade, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership, to drive alignment and achieve business goals
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strategic mindset with the ability to interpret industry trends and translate them into actionable business strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools
- Self-motivated and adaptable
- Ability to travel approximately 25–50% monthly
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; will consider relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- 5–7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years in national accounts or GPO management
- Generic injectable experience required
The annual base salary range for this position is $140,807.00 to $190,000.00 depending on factors such as experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Final compensation decisions will consider these and other relevant business needs. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus, with target percentages varying by role. The total compensation package may also include discretionary incentives and role-based monthly allowances (e.g., cell phone or car allowance, where applicable).
