Summary:

ADT is in search of a research analyst to support our Competitive and Consumer Insights and Intelligence within our Advanced Analytics team. In this role, you will be mining data to drive insights that lead us to making impactful business decisions. Your work will be essential in supporting the evolution of ADT as a modern, dynamic brand committed to innovation and excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Utilize strong mathematical, analytical, and data modeling skills to manipulate large, complex datasets into manageable, understandable reports.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct applied research and data management, analyzing past operations' results, performing variance analyses, identifying and analyzing trends, and making recommendations for improvements to business processes.
  • Market Research: Research market trends, conduct surveys, and analyze data from competitors to identify patterns of potential issues or improvements, providing valuable insights for business strategy.
  • Data Interpretation: Interpret data analysis to guide decision-making, develop pricing models, and identify areas for operational improvement, using statistical, economic, and data modeling techniques and tools.
  • Reporting and Recommendations: Organize and analyze data, create charts and graphs, and present findings to the leadership team, providing recommendations to improve future business operations and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Data Management: Organize and store data for future research projects, ensuring efficient and accurate organization and storage of valuable business data.
  • Process Testing and Improvements: Test processes, policies, and protocols for efficiency and improvements, providing insights for refining and modernizing operational procedures.
  • Perform searches, competitive shopping, and competitor analysis as needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data modeling software (SQL, tableau, Python), Excel, and familiarity with statistical and economic modeling techniques and tools.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large, complex datasets.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and organizational skills, fostering collaboration and effective data-driven decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: Experience in applied research or data management is advantageous, showcasing a strong foundation in data analysis and interpretation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Educational: A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in economics, finance, statistics, computer science, or a related field.

Pay & Benefits Disclosure: The salary range for this role is $68,000 - $102,000 and is based on experience and qualifications. Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance.

We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
