A Florida school district is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) to provide virtual speech-language services to students during a full-time maternity leave coverage assignment from August through December 2026.
This position offers the opportunity to support students in a school-based setting while working collaboratively with a supervising Florida-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and educational team.
The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) will provide speech-language therapy services through a district-approved virtual service delivery model under the supervision of a Florida-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and in accordance with all applicable Florida laws, regulations, district policies, and telepractice requirements.
The supervising SLP retains responsibility for evaluation, treatment planning, clinical decision-making, and oversight of services provided by the SLP-A.
This position is structured to comply with Florida Board requirements for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
The SLP-A will:
Services will be delivered through a district-approved virtual service model and are contingent upon compliance with all applicable Florida licensure, supervision, and telepractice requirements. Candidates must be able to meet all state and district requirements necessary to provide services in this role.
