We enable customer transformation by leading the global sales strategy, enabling technical sales, driving sales motion innovation and revenue execution for the Infrastructure Commercial Solution Area in EMEA.

As an Azure SAP Global Black Belt Specialist for EMEA, you will be a solution sales and technical expert within our enterprise sales organization working with our most important customers on their migration strategy of their SAP estate. You will collaborate with a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed quarterly SAP revenue and usage/consumption targets across EMEA. This role requires up to 50% travelling.

Responsibilities

  • Generate "SAP on Azure consumption revenue" in assigned territory. (SAP S/4 HANA deployment on Azure IaaS, Rise with SAP on Azure, HEC on Azure)
  • Drive wins in high-potential customers to accelerate "new customer adds & associated revenue".
  • 50% of your time will be spent leading business level dialogue with customers around the SAP workloads, including business transformation for enterprise computing and digital transformation. You will engage Microsoft account and solution sales teams on assessing SAP solution strategy with a broad set of customers in a geographical region, and present to customers in one-many venues on the Microsoft Solution Strategy for SAP
  • 30% of your time will be spent on acting as a senior Sales and solution SME (Subject Matter Expert) to Sales teams, Cloud Architects and Solution Specialists and develop engagement approaches leveraging assets across Microsoft SAP Architects, Product Teams and Engineering. You will brief Microsoft Executives around complex sales opportunities, including competitive strategies and close plans and work with partners to engage customers with joint value positioning.
  • 20% of your time will be spent on influencing the Microsoft Azure SAP go-to-market strategies by providing feedback to sales, marketing, and engineering on current and future product requirements and sales blockers. You will be recognized for sharing, learning and driving work that results in business impact for customers, partners and Microsoft. Qualifications

Business Experience:

  • Solid experience in enterprise technology sales/pre-sales or consulting experience with deep expertise on SAP solutions - S/4 HANA, PCE (Private Cloud Edition), HEC (HANA Enterprise Cloud), SAP Netweaver and SAP Business Technology Platform(BTP) experience required (Mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge in public cloud market (Mandatory)
  • Expertise in enterprise solution selling techniques and selling cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud consumption Economics.
  • Growth Mindset: Ability to overcome and work around problems that are inevitable in rapidly growing businesses – positive approach to problem solving, learning, and development of potential.
  • Account Management: Solid experience in effective territory/account management and leading sales teams: planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder, and executive communication, needs analysis, value engineering, services/partner engagement, opportunity management and proposal response, pipeline management, large dollar licensing and deal negotiation required.
  • Executive Presence: Solid experience and expertise selling to C-Suite and executive business decision makers by aligning & reinforcing the value of Azure SAP to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteria. Required
  • Problem Solver: Ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies required
  • Leadership: Experience leading large cloud engagements, especially those involving Infrastructure modernization and migration preferred
  • Orchestrate and influence virtual teams to pursue sales opportunities and lead v-teams.
  • Communication: Executive level speaking and presentation skills, and good written communication skillsDeep Partner engagement and Management skills with SAP focused Practices.
  • Exceptionally demonstrated decision-making, conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation skills.

Technical Experience

  • Cloud computing infrastructure basic (Mandatory): Server, Storage, NW, Security area
  • SAP: S/4 HANA including SAP PCE (Private Cloud Edition), SAP HANA, SAP Suite on HANA, ECC and SAP BW required (Mandatory).
  • Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing solutions
  • Competitive Landscape. Knowledge of enterprise software solutions, cloud, and data center infrastructure competitor landscape
  • SAP HANA Certification/Migration specialist certification preferred.
  • Understanding of Azure Platform or what's equivalent (Azure Admin Associate or Architect certification is preferred or Azure for SAP workload Specialty)
