Ragle Dental Laboratory is seeking a Crown & Bridge / CAD-CAM Dental Technician to join our team in Champaign, Illinois.

Experience in crown & bridge or CAD/CAM dental technology is preferred, but not required. We are willing to provide on-site training for the right candidate who is dependable, detail-oriented, has good hand skills, and is eager to learn.

This is a full-time, in-house position working with both traditional and digital dental laboratory processes.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on experience and training, responsibilities may include:

  • Designing crowns, bridges, implant restorations, and other fixed restorations using 3Shape CAD software
  • Working with zirconia and other restorative materials
  • Contouring, staining, glazing, characterizing, and finishing restorations
  • Checking margins, contacts, occlusion, anatomy, and esthetics
  • Assisting with milling, sintering, and 3D printing processes
  • Working with implant and full-arch restorative cases
  • Zirconia preparation and coloring, including MiYO
  • Assisting with custom shade appointments
  • Following dentist prescriptions and laboratory quality standards
  • Working closely with other technicians throughout the production process

Requirements

Qualifications

Dental laboratory experience is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right person.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • A willingness and ability to learn new techniques and technology
  • Dependability and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good communication and organizational skills

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

  • Crown & Bridge dental laboratory work
  • 3Shape CAD software
  • Digital dental workflows
  • Zirconia restorations
  • Milling, sintering, and 3D printing
  • Implant or full-arch restorations
  • Staining, glazing, or MiYO
  • Dental anatomy and occlusion
  • CDT certification
