California Mantel & Fireplace Inc. is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing sales operations, and fostering strong customer relationships within the residential construction and home improvement markets. The Sales Manager will oversee inside and outside sales teams, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining our reputation for quality and innovation in fireplace and mantel solutions. Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand customer base and increase revenue.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, builders, designers, and contractors.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with company objectives.
  • Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to senior management.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by supporting sales staff and resolving customer issues.
  • Conduct regular training and performance evaluations to develop sales team skills.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the construction, home improvement, or related industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of fireplace products and residential construction is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a customer-focused approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
