Position Overview
What You’ll Do
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and break/fix support for AV hardware and software across conference rooms, phone booths, huddle spaces, event spaces, and other office environments.
- Conduct daily and weekly preventive maintenance to ensure AV systems remain fully functional and aligned with global standards.
- Monitor and manage AV support tickets via Zendesk, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
- Provide on‑site and virtual support for corporate events, including setup, testing, live operation, and takedown.
- Support commissioning and turnover of new AV installations and retrofitted spaces.
- Maintain accurate inventory of AV equipment; organize storage areas; coordinate e‑waste and decommissioning activities.
- Assist with AV‑related MACD (Moves, Adds, Changes, Deletes) across office environments.
- Test and validate new AV designs and solutions in partnership with engineering teams.
- Track and log all AV service activity in the ticketing system to support reporting and analytics.
- Ensure reliable operation of digital signage, background music systems, LED walls, and lobby technologies through proactive upkeep.
- Provide AV/IT support across the APAC region for on‑site, off‑site, and hybrid events, with travel as required.
- Execute Computer IMAC activities for end‑user devices and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot user PCs, including hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Complete device preparation tasks such as imaging, configuration, and deployment.
- Diagnose and resolve printer‑related issues including driver, connectivity, and hardware faults.
- Deliver basic IT support to employees to enable seamless day‑to‑day device operations.
- Coordinate laptop repair schedules with vendors or internal repair teams.
- Prepare IT equipment for new hires, events, and operational requirements, ensuring readiness and compliance with standards.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 3+ years of experience in AV field engineering, commissioning, systems integration, or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise production and video conferencing environments.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and familiarity with AV control systems, DSPs, and signal routing.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Conversational English proficiency.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Ability to remain self‑motivated and accountable in a fast‑paced, independent work environment.
- Creative and methodical problem‑solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to client culture.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy equipment and supporting physical integration/maintenance work.
