This position supports engine product development and manufacturing integration as part of a Design for Manufacturing team. The team serves as a liaison between manufacturing, quality, and off-site product design teams, helping resolve production challenges and improve product quality and manufacturability. This position is less focused on creating designs and more focused on applying engineering knowledge to solve production and build issues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as an engineering liaison between manufacturing teams and off-site product design teams.
• Coordinate and support on-engine fit-up activities for new component and design improvements.
• Gather technical information from manufacturing and quality teams and communicate findings to product design teams.
• Troubleshoot build, manufacturing, and safety-related issues; identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze engineering prints, specifications, and 3D models to support issue resolution and design decisions.
• Support prototype and pilot build activities for new product introduction (NPI) programs.
• Document build issues, fit-up observations, and technical findings for design teams.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to improve product quality, manufacturability, and production efficiency.
• Respond to production support requests as issues arise within the factory environment.

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Years of experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field with 1–2+ years of relevant experience; OR an Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Degree requirement: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
