As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work with a diverse outpatient population including orthopedic, post-operative, neurological, vestibular, balance, gait, and sports-related conditions. Your Role:
- Provide physical therapy treatment interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on functional outcomes and patient goals
- Deliver evidence-based treatment interventions including therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, balance training, gait training, and patient education
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Build strong relationships with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Raintree EMR
- Collaborate with a supportive clinical team while contributing to a positive and engaging clinic culture
Requirements
- Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant licensure in the applicable state
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills
