About the Role
As a Retail Stock Supervisor, you will lead by example in maintaining exceptional stockroom standards while fostering a positive, respectful, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and strategic, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting while supporting the company’s mission and delivering a high level of responsiveness.
You will oversee all back-of-house operations including inventory flow, shipment processing, and product organization to ensure seamless cross-channel retail execution and an exceptional customer experience.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, process, and track all incoming and outgoing shipments between the distribution center, store, and clients
- Unpack, steam, and prepare merchandise for timely placement on the sales floor
- Strategically organize and maintain product in the stockroom for operational efficiency
- Ensure product displays are consistently maintained to company standards
- Oversee transfer orders to ensure accurate inventory management
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or lost merchandise promptly
- Manage returns and damaged goods processing in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records for the store
- Assist with inventory data entry into store systems as needed
- Partner with management to support physical inventory counts and shrink goals
- Ensure store security procedures are followed, including locking doors and setting alarms when leaving
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized work style
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter who can follow instructions and visual guidelines independently
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, count, sort, and verify numerical data accurately
- Basic math proficiency
