The Opportunity
As Acusensus scales its US operations, you'll play a pivotal role in transitioning hardware manufacturing from our Sydney facility to Las Vegas — helping build the processes and quality standards that will support our continued global growth..
What You'll Do
- Assemble and manufacture Acusensus intelligent enforcement solutions, integrating radar, camera, and communications hardware with operating systems and software
- Deploy and commission fixed-location and trailer-based enforcement systems in the field
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults, including remotely supporting field operators through complex troubleshooting
- Manage work orders and hit production throughput targets
- Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and environmental management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001)
- Support the delivery phase of customer solutions, including assisting with tender and contract required products
- Work closely with the Manufacturing Lead and cross-functional teams to continuously improve manufacturing processes
Requirements
What You'll Bring
You're a technically versatile, hands-on professional who's equally comfortable at a workbench and out in the field — and you take real pride in getting things right.
- Technical Background: A trade qualification in electronics, electrical, or a computer-related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong electronic/electrical/computer knowledge with solid technical diagnostic skills including
- Confident IT and networking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot systems remotely
- Hands-on Experience: Mechanical aptitude, including small engine and fabrication knowledge
- Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to quality and accuracy in all tasks
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Good Communication: Ability to work collaboratively in a team and document processes clearly.
- A full driver's license, including the ability to tow and reverse heavy trailers
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50lbs and work at heights in roadside environments
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.
Bonus points for:
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles or ISO-aligned quality management systems
- Experience in a manufacturing scale-up or greenfield production environment
- Prior experience supporting technology deployments in field or infrastructure settings
