Role

We are seeking highly motivated, competitive and entrepreneurial Therapeutic Specialists to join our growing team. The Therapeutic Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving sales quota, including market volume, market volume growth, and business objectives within an assigned Territory. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to build a rewarding career in pharmaceutical sales. This role offers a comprehensive training program designed to develop your industry knowledge, sales skills, and product expertise.

  • Promote and sell Trelstar and Tlando to healthcare providers including medical practices, physicians, clinics, and pharmacies within your assigned territory.
  • Identifies and cultivates relationships with key influencers within assigned customers and professional networks to enhance scope of influence.
  • Create, maintain, and increase sales within designated territory by influencing the prescribing habits of the targeted audience, on label, and in support of patients.
  • Implements brand marketing strategies and tactics at the local level, executes managed care pull‐through and push‐through strategies, and appropriately leverages Verity resources to enhance business results.
  • Conduct daily calls (face-to-face and virtual) with a variety of key stakeholders across the customer segment to establish long‐term relationships and to achieve sales quotas and other key metrics, resulting in increased support for Verity products.
  • Develops and implements an efficient Territory business plan with strategies and tactics to maximize opportunities, increase sales results, and meet strategic objectives.
  • Collaborates across Verity teams and business partners to maximize efforts and enhance business outcomes.
  • Identifies and partners with stakeholders who impact healthcare decision making at the local level, including local healthcare providers, physician networks, and pharmacies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably business or life sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 2-4 years of proven sales record with a desire for advancement.
  • Ability to become a subject matter expert in the Urology, Oncology, Endocrinology and Primary Care specialties.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Represent Verity and the brand to its highest standards.
  • Documented sales results are required. Examples of company awards or participation in management development programs are preferred.

  • Ability to apply a systematic approach to selling and sales procedures.
  • Significant travel required throughout the assigned area, and for national events, conferences and meetings as needed.
  • Some overnight and/or weekend travel may be required.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory
