Location/Schedule: Byron, GA / 1st & 2nd Shift Available
Requirements
What You’ll Do:
- Inspect work products at various stages of the production process to verify compliance with company and customer requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
- Perform dimensional checks using appropriate measuring tools.
- Apply mathematical skills, including fractions, decimals, and millimeters, to verify product measurements. Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns or non-conformances.
- Communicate effectively with production, drafting, sales, and planning personnel regarding quality issues.
- Support and comply with the Quality Management System (QMS), including documentation and standard procedures.
- Participate in training and development activities and apply learned skills on the job.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
- Actively participate in safety programs and follow all safety procedures and policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform all other duties assigned.
Who You Are:
- Ability to pass a tape measure test.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection role preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings preferred.
- Strong math aptitude, including understanding of fractions, decimals, and millimeters.
- Familiarity with measuring tools and inspection techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to follow quality standards, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work on feet for extended periods (8-12 hours per shift).
- Ability to work in hot, cold, or non-climate-controlled environments, including outdoor areas.
- Ability to safely climb ladders, stairs, and work on elevated surfaces.
- Manual dexterity required to operate tools, controls, and equipment.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
