Description
In this role, you'll get to:

Manage a portfolio of 100-125 donor prospects with a capacity to give $10,000 or more.

Responsible for qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individuals to secure philanthropic support for PPPSW’s mission and priorities, as well as the Planned Parenthood Action Fund of the Pacific Southwest 501c4 and PAC.

Develop and implement individualized plans for each donor, focusing on building meaningful relationships and advancing them through the donor lifecycle.

Regularly attend in-person meetings, calls, and events within San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial counties to engage with prospects.

Manage the solicitation process for major gifts and planned gifts, making solicitations of $10,000 or more and inviting donors to include PPPSW in their estate plans. Collaborate with senior leadership, volunteers, and other team members, as appropriate.

Create compelling, customized proposals and presentations for potential donors, demonstrating the impact of their philanthropy.

Ensure effective stewardship of Riverside County donors by sending thank-you notes, organizing meaningful recognition opportunities, and reporting back to donors on the outcomes of their gifts.

Utilize Raiser’s Edge to maintain up-to-date donor records, ensuring that all contact, solicitation, and stewardship activities are logged and documented.

Work closely with the Director of Major Gifts, leadership team, and other fundraising staff to develop and execute strategies to meet overall fundraising goals.

Work with volunteer committees to spur involvement with volunteers and community partners.

Ensure donor data is captured accurately in the CRM and that activities are tracked effectively.

Regularly track and report on progress with individual prospects, including setting and meeting annual goals for meetings, asks, and gift closures.

Provide regular reports on progress toward major gift goals, including fundraising projections, strategy adjustments, and donor insights.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience - Required
3+ years of proven experience in nonprofit fundraising, with demonstrated track record of securing gifts of $10,000 or more - Required
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling proposals and communicate impact - Required
Proven ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines - Required
Ability to prioritize, set, and accomplish goals, and handle multiple fundraising activities in a fast-paced environment - Required
Demonstrated experience working with donors, community partners, and volunteers of all backgrounds - Required
Willingness to travel throughout San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial counties as needed - Required
