We are a new and rapidly growing Personal Injury and Criminal Defense law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services with a compassionate client-first approach. As we expand, we are looking for a motivated and dynamic Paralegal to join our team and grow with us.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Paralegal who is a proactive self-starter with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

In this vital role, you will work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment where you will support a wide range of legal functions across our two main practice areas: Personal Injury and Criminal Defense.

Your expertise in client communication, calendar management, electronic filing, document management, and case preparation will be instrumental in helping us take our firm to the next level!

Requirements

Duties

  • Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Manage deadlines, calendars, filings and legal case files using client management software such as Clio
  • Answer phone and direct calls. Communicate with clients, courts, and external parties in a professional manner.
  • Review and organize medical records for accuracy during document review processes; perform proofreading and transcription tasks as needed.
  • Perform data entry to ensure seamless document flow within the office.
  • Support administrative and operational needs as the firm grows

Qualifications

  • Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in Personal Injury and/or Criminal defense.
  • Familiarity with Clio is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; capable of proofreading for accuracy.
  • Administrative experience supporting lawyers or legal teams in busy law office settings; familiarity with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, transcription and phone etiquette is essential.
