Description
Machinists are responsible for operating and maintaining machine tools, setting up equipment, and ensuring that parts meet specified standards. They must have a strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and the ability to read and interpret technical documents. Machinists should also possess excellent attention to detail, proficiency in CAD/CAM software, and the ability to work under pressure.
Requirements
*Haas, Okuma and Fanuc Controls experience
*G code and M code experience
*CAD/CAM and/or Surf-CAM experience
*Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and detailed drawings
*Read micrometers, calipers and tape measure
*Set up, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools
*Tool and die experience preferred
*Experience using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, grinders etc.)
