Position Overview
Hallson Hospitality is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined hospitality maintenance technician to support the upkeep and performance of our short-term rental portfolio in Nashville.
This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, addressing minor repairs, and ensuring each property remains guest-ready at all times. You will assist with preventative maintenance, troubleshoot basic home systems, and respond to maintenance requests from our operations team.

Location
Nashville, Tennessee, and surrounding areas.
This role requires travel between multiple managed properties.
Type of Employment
Full-Time
Flexible scheduling is required, including some weekends or on-call shifts as needed. Must be able to respond to urgent maintenance issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of hand tools and safe usage
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills for reporting issues and updates
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable transportation to travel between properties
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable climbing ladders, bending, and working in tight spaces
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or construction
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or appliances
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in hospitality or short-term rental environments
