This position offers an exciting opportunity to support the team in building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors across the United States.
This role will involve research, data analysis, client communications, and attending investor-focused events to help facilitate connections between our organization and key market players. As an Investor Relations Associate, your insights and contributions will be pivotal in supporting the development of our client base and enhancing our outreach strategies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of investor materials, including presentations, reports, and correspondence.
- Conduct research to identify potential investors and gather market intelligence.
- Manage participant lists, create the team’s “work-in-progress" for each event, make all agenda edits, schedule prep calls and advisory board calls, track investor engagement, and maintain the CRM database.
- Support investor communications, including follow-ups and regular updates through scheduled investor calls and face-to-face meetings for the territories they cover.
- Attend events and conferences, representing the company and engaging with prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the Investor Relations team to execute outreach initiatives and events successfully to achieve event targets.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and changes in investor preferences.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A customer-focused mindset and the desire to build relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to process and interpret data effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to travel as needed to attend events and meetings.
- Previous experience in finance, investor relations, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred.
