This role is aligned with our Climbing Arborist II–III Career Pathway and requires demonstrated proficiency in advanced rigging, complex removals, and production accountability.
We are hiring a Senior Climber Arborist (Arborist II–III level) who performs at a high level technically, operates with discipline, and contributes to crew performance, safety, and client confidence.
This is not an entry-level role. This is for a senior contributor who can:
• Execute advanced tree work under real production conditions
• Maintain zero tolerance for preventable safety issues
• Lead by example and elevate the crew around them
• Operate within a structured, standards-driven system
At the Arborist II level, you are expected to execute advanced rigging systems, perform crane-assisted removals, and consistently meet production benchmarks.
At the Arborist III level, you plan and execute complex removals, coordinate crane work, perform specialty pruning, and act as a technical leader across crews.

As a senior climber, you are expected to:

Equipment & Work Environment:
We run equipped crews—not ground-heavy operations.
• Vermeer 1800XL chippers (high-volume production)
• Avant 528 & Avant 855 loaders (mechanized efficiency)
• Aerial lift access (reduced unnecessary climbing)
• Carlton TRX 7015 stump grinder (efficient removals)
• GCRS rigging systems (controlled removals)
• Dedicated chip trucks (continuous workflow)
Our goal is simple: maximize production while minimizing unnecessary wear on our crew.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Valid Driver’s License (NO EXCEPTIONS)
• 3+ years climbing experience
• Strong rigging and removal skills
Preferred:
• ISA Certified Arborist
• TRAQ / CTSP / CDL
• Crane experience

Compensation:
Pay Structure:
$28.00–$35.00/hour depending on experience, performance, and credentials
• $28–$30/hr → Arborist I
• $30–$32/hr → Arborist II
• $33–$35/hr → Arborist III
Credential Add-Ons (stackable):
• ISA Certified Arborist → +$1/hr
• TRAQ → +$1/hr
• CTSP → +$1/hr
• CDL → +$1/hr
