Sage X3 ERP Techno-Functional Analyst chez Footprint

Description

As a Sage X3 ERP Techno-Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for the financial aspects of the Sage X3 ERP system. You will work closely with various departments to ensure the system meets business needs and enhances productivity. Your role will involve leading changes to the current system, supporting the implementation of new modules, and providing techno-functional specifications, solution deployment, testing, maintenance, and user support.

Requirements

• Conduct application fit-gap analysis with assistance from technical resources.
• Oversee the functional aspect of the Sage X3 ERP system implementation, with a focus on financial modules such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Cash Management, Purchase Orders (PO), and Fixed Assets (FA).
• Prepare JAR/JAD materials, capture notes, and parking lot items during meetings.
• Facilitate meetings and direct them as applicable.
• Develop expertise within financial modules and support additional modules such as Inventory and Manufacturing, if applicable.
• Learn about overall business operations and develop innovative solutions to improve productivity.
• Improve system stability by ensuring processes are clearly documented and supported by consistent training materials.
• Maintain strong relationships with business users and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with integration and data teams to document integration and conversion requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain reports using Sage ERP (Sage X3 reporting modules).
• Test core functionalities, new enhancements, and production defect resolution.
• Support business and end-user correspondence.
• Record change management related to technical requirements.
• Assist key users in testing new functionality and documenting ERP knowledge.
• Deploy Sage to additional group entities and perform functional configuration.
• Assist business users with Sage functionalities and promote best practices.
• Develop and conduct end-user training of Sage business functions.
• Maintain a comprehensive set of Sage user manuals.
• Assist during IT and Finance audits.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or an IT-related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in ERP configuration, integration, and interface techniques with Sage X ERP.

Experience with system integrations (e.g., EDI, eCommerce, external reporting tools).

• Proven track record in project management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer-facing/customer service skills.
• Experience in working within multinational companies.
• Solutions-focused approach.
• Experience with agile methodology.

Preferred Skills:

• Power BI experience.
• Experience with Sage X3 MES and Manufacturing Modules.
