Description
As a CNC Operator, you’ll be the backbone of our machining process in Corvallis. We need someone who can handle the complexity of multi-axis machines and keep production tight.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes.
- Precision Setup: Configure machines based on production specs and specific setup instructions.
- Quality Control: Verify that all machined parts meet strict standards using precision measurement tools.
- Technical Literacy: Read and interpret G&M codes directly from the machine controller.
- Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly follow all safety protocols.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
To keep our shop running at the level we expect, we’re looking for a professional who is reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to get their hands dirty.
- Core Competencies: Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a collaborative mindset.
- Technical Skills: * Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, and indicators).
- Ability to read, write, and interpret technical documents and machine shop terminology.
- Willingness to strictly follow provided setup and production instructions.
- Physical Demands: * Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Reliability: Punctuality and dependability are non-negotiable.
Preferred Experience
- Proficiency with Mastercam software.
- Familiarity with MillTurn operations on Mazak Integrex machines.
- Working knowledge of Renishaw probing techniques.
