What you will do as an Inside Sales Specialist at GLS?
Come join our growing team! GLS is currently seeking experienced, motivated team players for our Inside Sales Specialist opportunities in our Greenville, SC office! This key role will be responsible for building strong business relationships with our GLS dealership partners to secure new and additional business, as well as provide support on deals actively in the pipeline.
How you will drive value within the organization as an Inside Sales Specialist?
Develop and maintain positive business relationships with dealers through daily conversations and solicitations, providing exceptional customer service, effective and timely communications and responsiveness to all credit processing questions and inquiries while maintaining a high level of integrity
Work with the dealer representative to provide a deal structure ensuring optimal success with our program turning more applications into contracts
Establish and track monthly purchase objectives for assigned dealers
Assist Funding team with the resolution of documentation issues
Maintain electronic records and files
Foster a collaborative culture that facilitates the achievement of business plan objectives by working closely with other associates and members of management
Participate in special projects as needed
Perform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed by management
What should you already know to be a successful Inside Sales Specialist?
Bachelor’s Degree in related field such as Business, Finance, or Mathematics preferred
Prior auto industry experience preferred
Must have professional and persuasive communication and negotiation skills with the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
Consultative selling skills, executing the sales process delivering the best solutions to needs Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of internet and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as required
Intrinsically motivated with demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify needs, make recommendations for improvement, see recommendations through implementation, and evaluate improvements for effectiveness
Excellent interpersonal skills: friendly and tactful with the ability to influence others, effectively manage conflict, exercise sound judgment, effectively manage highly sensitive and confidential information, interact at all levels within the organization, and build cross-functional partnerships across the business
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Team player that can adapt in a fast pace and changing environment
Commitment to exemplifying the organizational core values and key competencies
Employment Requirements
Remain in a stationary position up to 100% of the work day
Constantly operate a computer and other standard office equipment
Talk and hear to exchange accurate information
Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading
This position is full-time
Ability to work 100% onsite with a rotational Saturday every other week
