About the Role
We are seeking two energetic, relationship-driven Community Outreach Specialist ( Part Time) to help connect families with high-quality public charter school options across Washington, DC.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, working in the community, and making a meaningful impact in children’s lives.

Community Outreach Specialist will represent our schools at daycare centers, churches, community events, local businesses, and neighborhood spaces. The goal is to build trust, share information, and help families take the next step in the enrollment process.

What You’ll Do
Canvass neighborhoods and community spaces such as daycare centers, aftercare programs, churches, grocery stores, beauty salons, and community events
• Build relationships with local leaders and community partners
• Engage families in warm, authentic conversations about their children’s education
• Share information about school programs, enrollment, and upcoming events
• Collect family contact information and support follow-up communication
• Assist with event outreach and on-site recruitment
• Provide weekly updates on outreach efforts and results
• Collaborate with the Recruitment and Engagement team to meet enrollment goals
