Millennium Hotels and Resorts is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Club Lounge Attendant to join our exceptional team. In this role, you will provide personalized service to our valued guests in the Club Lounge, ensuring an exclusive and memorable experience throughout their stay.

As a Club Lounge Attendant, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the lounge area, preparing and serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with their needs. Your attention to detail and commitment to hospitality will shine through as you create a welcoming ambiance and exceed guests’ expectations.

This position requires strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Your ability to multitask and provide exceptional service will be key to enhancing our guests' experience in the Club Lounge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome and interact with guests in the Club Lounge, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Set up and replenish the food and beverage offerings throughout the day, including breakfast, snacks, and evening receptions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lounge area, including tables, seating, and food stations.
  • Assist guests with inquiries about the lounge services and hotel amenities.
  • Prepare and serve beverages, ensuring adherence to quality standards and presentation.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Keep inventory of food and beverage supplies, and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in food handling and service.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

The historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel has been a legendary Los Angeles landmark since 1923. With exquisite Spanish-Italian Renaissance architecture, including stunning hand-painted ceilings, its rich history is most noted for its connection with the Oscars - the founding banquet for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences was held in the Crystal Ballroom in 1927, where the original "Oscar" statuette was sketched on a Biltmore napkin, and eight Academy Awards banquets were held in the Biltmore Bowl during the '30s and '40s. This iconic hotel has also been and continues to be featured on many Hollywood films, TV shows, and music videos. The hotel has 70,000 square feet of flexible function space and 683 modern guest rooms, including 60 suites. Conveniently located in the heart of the Financial District, in a vibrant part of downtown Los Angeles, and only steps from Angel’s Flight, a unique funicular railway experience providing a great view of the area, as well as other noteworthy landmarks including the Brockman Building, Ernst and Young Plaza, the Fine Arts Building, and Los Angeles Public Library.

The hourly rate for this position is $25.74 per hour.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is an asset.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to providing high-quality service.
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry items, stand for prolonged periods, and maintain a high-energy level.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic food handling and safety knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
