What does our renewable energy Asset Management team do?

Excellence in asset management enables us to deliver on our commitments to our customers, partners, and investors. This service-oriented team combines on-the-ground expertise with analytical insights to inform data-driven decisions about all aspects of operating renewable energy facilities.

Asset management spans a wide range of activities that are all directed toward the same goal: maximizing the profitability of our operating renewable energy generation plants. Key functions within the team include the following:

·         On the ground, our Plant Operations team oversees day-to-day operations of the wind plants, ensuring smooth operation, monitoring compliance, and coordinating with maintenance contractors.

·         Our Remote Operations Center team connects the Plant Operations team with grid operators and our team in the office.

·         Our Asset Managers and Associates analyze the plants’ operational and financial characteristics to inform data-driven decision making about maintenance decisions, pricing strategy, and risk management.

Our Asset Management team continues to grow this year, as we bring two new facilities online, expanding our portfolio to six operating wind farms, one operating solar farm and one battery storage project. You will work alongside specialized analysts, a trader, and an asset manager; you will interface frequently with the Plant Operations and corporate accounting teams.

What will the Associate Asset Manager do?

Our Associate Asset Managers are a critical part of our team. We will rely on your ability to build productive professional relationships internally and externally, to work with ambiguous requirements from government and permitting agencies, and to deliver the right content on time every time. • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports monitoring variances and identifying trends in budget to actuals.
  • Regulatory Compliance
      • Develop and maintain a compliance calendar that identifies all regular compliance deadlines for operating projects.

  • Coordinate with colleagues to ensure vendor management and procurement processes are followed in Oracle for internal compliance policies.
  • Support insurance claims that arise by providing the information necessary to ensure fulfillment.

      • Track project compliance with all warranty requirements with third party equipment suppliers.
      • Track all warranty claims and payments to ensure appropriate resolution of issues.
