Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record systems.
- Manage appointment scheduling and reminders for both patients and staff.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of office documents, materials, and supplies.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations in handling patient information.
- Support staff with various clerical tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Customer service experience is highly valued.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient confidentiality practices is a plus.
