SRVacJet is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead efforts in growing our client portfolio and expanding market presence. This individual will serve as the face of SRVacJet in the field — building trusted partnerships, uncovering new revenue streams, and ensuring our services reach the right customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable on job sites and in boardrooms alike, and brings a proactive approach to finding opportunities paired with strong relationship management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, pursue, and close new business across targeted markets including utilities, construction, municipal, and industrial sectors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, nurturing long-term partnerships that drive repeat business and referrals.
- Visit customer locations and active job sites to evaluate project needs, demonstrate service value, and support pre-job planning.
- Build and present tailored proposals, service agreements, and competitive pricing strategies.
- Represent SRVacJet at industry conferences, trade shows, and local networking events to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
- Track all sales activity, client communications, and pipeline progress within the company's CRM platform.
- Partner with operations, safety, and project management teams to ensure seamless handoffs from sales to service delivery.
- Address client issues with urgency and professionalism, acting as an advocate for both the customer and the company.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities relevant to SRVacJet's service offerings.
- Travel regularly throughout Maryland and neighboring states; occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Adapt to a flexible schedule that aligns with client availability and project timelines.
Requirements
Education:
Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of proven sales or business development experience within industrial, environmental, construction, or similar service industries.
Skills:
