Description
Unicity Care Management is seeking a Talent & HR Operations Specialist to own full-cycle recruitment and provide hands-on HR operational support across our growing multi-site healthcare organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and enjoys both recruiting and HR process improvement.
About the role
- Serve as the primary recruiter for all office locations, hiring both healthcare and administrative staff
- Manage the full hiring lifecycle: job postings, sourcing, resume review, phone screens, interview coordination, and offer process
- Support HR operations including onboarding, HRIS updates, benefits support, payroll data coordination, and employee file maintenance
- Help improve HR workflows using technology and AI-enabled tools to make processes more efficient and scalable
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting: post jobs, source candidates (job boards, networking, referrals, schools, community organizations), screen applicants, schedule interviews, and manage ongoing candidate communication
- Partner with hiring managers to clarify staffing needs, role requirements, hiring timelines, and selection criteria
- Manage offers including reference checks, preparation and distribution of offer letters aligned with internal compensation guidelines, and coordination of background checks and pre-employment documentation
- Maintain accurate candidate data and pipelines in the applicant tracking system; track metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline volume, source of hire, and conversion, and provide regular updates to leadership
- Coordinate onboarding logistics, ensure all new hire documentation is completed, and establish new employees in payroll/HRIS systems
- Maintain compliant personnel files and HRIS records, track PTO and leaves, assist with payroll data submission, and support benefits enrollment and changes
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives, including appreciation/wellness events, basic employee relations support, and administration of periodic employee satisfaction surveys
- Help ensure compliance with federal and NJ labor and employment requirements in recruitment, hiring, and HR documentation
- Contribute to process improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline HR workflows and by leveraging AI-enabled tools and HR system integrations (ATS, HRIS, payroll)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Admin, Healthcare Admin, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in healthcare recruitment and HR.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple hiring pipelines at once.
- Ability to manage multiple hiring pipelines simultaneously
- Spanish speaking strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with HRIS and applicant tracking systems preferred
- Experience recruiting healthcare professionals strongly preferred.
