Neuberger Berman is seeking a sharp, highperforming Analyst to join our Private Wealth Production Compensation team within Finance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fastpaced, high-accountability environments and brings both strong analytical discipline and a processimprovement mindset. You’ll support daytoday compensation operations while helping modernize how we deliver insights and scale our workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation Processing & Operational Excellence

  • Assist with the monthly compensation calculations for Wealth Advisors and Money Managers.

  • Prepare, reconcile, and validate data sets that feed compensation models.

  • Coordinate the production and distribution of monthly compensation statements and reporting.

Data Integrity, Analysis & Issue Resolution

  • Perform data checks, reconciliations, and variance analyses to ensure outputs are accurate and explainable

  • Investigate anomalies and document findings clearly, escalating issues as needed

  • Maintain clear, organized audit trails across all monthly cycles

Reporting, Insights & Communication

  • Produce recurring and adhoc reporting for senior Finance and Private Wealth leadership

  • Draft clear, wellstructured explanations and supporting materials for Advisor, Money Manager, and internal partner questions

  • Translate compensation data into insights that improve understanding and decisionmaking

Process, Controls & Continuous Improvement

  • Follow standardized controls and checklists to ensure consistent monthly execution

  • Maintain and enhance process documentation and SOPs

  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline, automate, or modernize workflows—leveraging technology wherever possible

CrossFunctional Collaboration & Testing

  • Partner with Finance, Payroll, HCM, Private Wealth Administration, and Technology to resolve data or process challenges

  • Assist in system testing and validation when compensation plans, data sources, or tools change

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting, reporting, or analytical roles

  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets

  • Experience with compensation/commissions a plus; asset management preferred

  • Exceptional attention to detail, clear communication skills, and an ownership mindset

  • Ability to multitask and manage tight deadlines in a fastmoving environment

  • Techforward mindset with an affinity for using AI and automation to improve processes and accuracy, and generate insights

  • Highly organized and collaborative, comfortable operating in a small, focused team

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $75,000-$95,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement, life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
