Full-Time Position


Reporting to the Director of Performance Medicine, as the Lead Therapist – Head of Rehabilitation, you will take a pivotal role in leading the long-term injury and reintegration strategy for Cirque du Soleil artists based in Las Vegas. With a mandate focused on long-term disability (> 1 month), you will champion a rehabilitation pathway that is data-informed, collaborative, and artist-centred. You will serve a liaison between the Las Vegas Central Clinic and our Las Vegas resident shows, as well as Strength & Conditioning teams, ensuring a seamless and effective reintegration process. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Injury Severity and Injury Burden 
 

Key responsibilities: 

- Leading the clinical and functional rehabilitation strategy for long-term injury cases in Las Vegas. 
- Managing and coordinating reintegration planning for artists, in collaboration with Coaches, S&C Specialists, and Medical providers. 
- Acting as the primary clinical lead for long-term disability cases, ensuring timely progression and clear documentation. 
- Collaborating with Central Clinic and show-based teams to maintain clinical continuity and optimize care pathways. 
- Supporting operational needs and clinical coverage for assigned shows as needed. 
- Serving as a liaison between Central Clinic and show PMed teams to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity of care. 
- Collaborating closely with Strength & Conditioning teams to ensure rehabilitation plans are aligned with conditioning programs. 
- Using injury surveillance data to guide practice and inform prevention strategies. 
- Participating in clinical case reviews, advancing best practices in MSK rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care. 
- Driving continuous quality improvement, grounded in research, innovation, and professional excellence. 
- Support Lead Therapists in their Team Leadership and functional management of Therapists 
 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

- A university degree in Athletic Therapy, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, or Physiotherapy, with current professional registration relevant to Nevada or eligibility to obtain it. 
- Minimum 12 years of experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, ideally in a high-performance, sports, or performing arts environment. 
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex, long-term injury cases with a proven track record of return-to-performance outcomes. 
- Strong understanding of injury burden metrics, recovery timelines, and reintegration pathways. 
- Experience leading clinical teams and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. 
- High-level clinical reasoning, attention to detail, and evidence-based decision-making. 
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills, capable of inspiring confidence and coordination among varied stakeholders. 
- Must be able to achieve and maintain a current valid First Aid and Trauma Management certificate issued by a CdS recognized body 
- Fluency in English (French an asset, but not essential).
