The internship will be a 10-week role from June 1, 2026 to August 7, 2026 supporting the Internal Audit department in several areas, including reviewing and documenting key business processes for Sarbanes Oxley compliance and executing testing for operational audits across the real estate and hotel divisions under the guidance of the Vice President of Internal Audit.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with performing walkthroughs and testing, including the test of design and operating effectiveness for internal controls over financial reporting
Assist with executing testing per the audit work program for operational audits across divisions and special projects
Prepare clear, concise work papers that have definitive conclusions and follow documentation standards
Identify and document audit observations and recommendations for improvement

Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships

Ability to be resourceful while completing tasks and projects
Strong analytical skills
Desire to work collaboratively in a team
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and successfully manage multiple deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
Education Requirements
A current student or recent graduate of an Accounting or Finance program from an accredited college or university preferred
3.0 GPA or higher

The actual base pay offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. Base pay is one component of B. F. Saul Company & Affiliates total compensation package, which also includes access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, bonus plans and more.
