The level 3 operator may perform a variety of significant tasks, which contribute to the over-all quality and safety of POM Wonderful products and employees. This may include performing tasks in multiple areas, including but not limited to the Beverage filler, pasteurizer, Aseptic tanks, or any of the level 1 an 2 positions. The level 3 operators play a vital role in their contributions towards the success of the Beverage department. All employees of POM Wonderful will be expected to learn and follow all standard work methods, GMP policies, and practice safe work habits to ensure operations is as efficient and safe as possible.
Compensation Range: $20.50-$24.00
Job Description
Beverage Filler
- Required to obtain HACCP certification annually
- Perform “pre-flight” checks created for Filler Operator position
- Responsible to perform “in-flight” checks daily
- Ability to troubleshoot failure symptoms at an operator level
- Ability to perform all size, country, lot, and flavor changes
- Required to document pasteurization CCP, cold fill, and aseptic hourly reports
- Assist with continuous improvement projects
- Perform preventative work orders pertaining but not limited to cleaning, mechanical, and wear and tear observations
- Ability to operate level 1 an 2 equipment, including “pre-flight” checks, and documentation
- Support with new onboarding training for future employees
- Required to attend chemical training annually
- Responsible for COP cleanings
- Responsible for SOP/SIP cleanings
- Responsible for the visual management of leaks, cracks, or any alterations to the integrity of the filling equipment
- Responsible for assisting with re-work, including but not limited to dumping bottles, disposal of materials, proper documentation
- May be asked to support reliability team with downtime events
- Responsible for the plus code date on finished goods
- Required to assist quality team with their swab process
- May be asked to support quality team with obtaining samples of various chemicals
Pasteurizer & Aseptic tanks
- Responsible for the visual management of leaks, cracks, or any alterations to the integrity of the CCP including both aseptic tanks
- Ability to perform sterilization steps for both pasteurizer and aseptic tanks
- Responsible for the proper documentation, and care of both chart recorders for tanks and pasteurizer
- Required to know and execute the proper deviation procedures when required
- Understanding of our process limitations and critical setpoints
- May be asked to perform in depth COP cleanings throughout the year
- May be asked to support reliability team with downtime events
- Support with new onboarding training for future employees
- Ability to troubleshoot failure symptoms at an operator level
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficiency in basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of two-digit numbers and calculations involving 10's and 100's.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems in standardized situations with multiple variables.
- Proven capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong analytical skills to comprehend and execute detailed written or oral instructions.
- Flexibility to work non-standard schedules, including mandatory weekends and overtime as required by business needs.
- Excellent reading comprehension skills for interpreting and understanding work-related documentation.
- Superior communication abilities for effective interaction with operational personnel, colleagues, and management.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least six months of relevant experience in a similar role or industry.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Adherence to safety protocols and quality standards is paramount in this role.
