AdivsaCare is seeking a compassionate, servant-hearted Hospice Administrator to lead our hospice organization in Troy, MI. This role is for a leader who believe that end-of-life care is sacred work - someone who values dignity, comfort, respect, and presence for patients and families during life's most tender moments.

The hospice administrator will guide daily operations with empathy, integrity, and excellence, ensuring that every patient and family feels supported, honored, and cared for with compassion and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

Compassionate Leadership

  • Lead with humility, empathy, and purpose
  • Foster a culture of kindness, respect, accountability, and service
  • Support staff emotionally and professionally in the sacred work of hospice care

Care Excellence

  • Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care for every individual and family
  • Uphold dignity, comfort, and peace in every aspect of service delivery
  • Champion holistic are for physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs

Regulatory Stewardship

  • Ensure compliance with all hospice regulations and standards of care
  • Maintain licensure, certifications, and accreditation requirements
  • Promote ethical practices and integrity in all operations

Operational & Financial Oversight

  • Guide responsible stewardship of resources
  • Ensure sustainability while honoring mission over margins
  • Oversee operations with transparency and accountability

Team Development

  • Mentor, support, and develop interdisciplinary team members
  • Build a culture of belonging, trust, and collaboration
  • Encourage growth, learning, and professional fulfillment

Community Presence

  • Build trusting relationships within the community
  • Serve as a compassionate ambassador for hospice services
  • Strengthen partnerships and healthcare providers, families, and organizations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business, or related field
  • 1-2 years of healthcare leadership experience (hospice, homehealth, or palliative care preferred)
  • Strong understanding of hospice regulations and standards of care
  • Deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Preferred

  • Master's degree in healthcare or business
  • Licensed healthcare professional (RN Preferred)
  • Hospice leadership or executive experience
