As a Patient Coordinator, you’re the first friendly face families see and the steady presence that keeps the day running smoothly. You’ll welcome clients into the clinic, guide them through check-in and scheduling, and make sure every detail is handled with care and accuracy.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves supporting families, and takes pride in creating a calm, organized front office experience. You’ll partner closely with the General Manager and the Front Office Team, helping ensure each family feels known and supported. At our clinics, this position isn’t just administrative. It’s relational. You’ll play a meaningful part in the experience families have with us, supporting the work our clinicians do by keeping the front end seamless, welcoming, and professional.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and managing communications.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring a smooth experience for both patients and providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure that all necessary information and documentation are prepared for patient visits.
- Assist patients with the intake process, including obtaining necessary consents and completing paperwork.
- Provide patients with educational materials related to their treatment and health management.
- Address any patient concerns or complaints with empathy, ensuring resolution and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a patient-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Organizational skills with a keen attention to detail to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare software applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
