Veterinarian – Medical Director/Partnership Pathway (NO WEEKENDS!)

• Salary: $145,000 - $165,000 per year + pro-sal (no negative accrual for the first twelve months)

Loving Care Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to a variety of animals, including cats and dogs. This is an exciting opportunity for a doctor who is not only looking to practice high-quality medicine but is also interested in growing into a Medical Director and potential partner role.

What to Expect

• A schedule that respects your time. Our last appointment of the day is at 5:30pm (M/T/F) and 6:30pm (W/H). We offer a 4-day work week with consistent weekday hours, no weekends, and no on-call responsibilities. Doctors work until close, with a daily lunch hour reserved between 1pm–2pm.
• A 2:1staff to doctor ratio. You will have the support—and respect—you need to be excellent for our patients. Our experienced technicians manage all tasks beyond doctor-specific responsibilities, so you can stay focused on practicing medicine and caring for patients.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
• Valid veterinary license in the state of Illinois

Interest in transitioning into a Medical Director role and exploring partnership is encouraged, with Spanish language skills considered a plus.
